"The actors totally nailed it, especially Bob Odenkirk. It’s a very fast paced play and hilarious… if you can keep track of what’s going on, there are also some good plot twists. All of the actors came out and very graciously signed playbills afterward. "
"From the first moment Odenkirk starts pleading in the first scene, we absorbed the high energy and quick wit that was about to unfold. For screen actors, I was surprised at how well they conveyed what could've been nuanced responses on TV. Their gestures and head shakes, eye rolls and frustrations translated to the stage and they drew us in from the first moments. Fast paced continual entertainment and relatability from all the actors. Well done!"

All the actors were perfect for their roles!
"I think since it is a play with running conversations, the sound/mics need to be turned up. It was a little hard for me to catch all of the dialogue. I was trying to catch it all!!!!! "

Short but Powerful
"Kieran Culkin stands out in a loaded cast. The dialogue is fast, witty, and aggressive. Great show to see on a weeknight, as we were out in less than 2 hours."

A Mamet Classic with Comedic Bent
"The cast was spot on. The director clearly wanted to highlight the dark humor of Mamet’s classic, and casting native Chicagoan Odenkirk commits to the underbelly of sales and the pursuit of the masculine identity. McKean was delightful, and Burr was born for his role. Culkin was a little flat in Act 1, but such as it is with basically 3 monologues as an act, he’ll get his feet. I was a huge fan of the set design and the use of lighting in the second act was practical and quite fun. Overall, while some people may deride the star power of the show as a negative, the actor’s love of the written work shines through."

A bit dated…too much toxic masculinity
"Bob Odenkirk was great.
Other actors were good but not as good as expected.
Sound in first act was not good. A bit mumbly"

As a fan of the Movie, I thought this was very good
"Bob Odenkirk skipped this one so we had the understudy, which was the only disappointment. Not that the understudy was bad, it was just impossible for him to take the Shelley Levine character to the desperation level that Jack Lemmon did in the film. I would liked to have seen if Bob Odenkirk could.I liked the way Kieran Culkin portrayed Ricky Roma. It seemed more real and less smarmy than in the movie and a bit more comical. Bill Burr was excellent and didn't even seem like he was acting. And Donald Webber Jr, the actor that played Williamson, gave him a sort of human element that Kevin Spacey didn't, though you still disliked that character. I am comparing a lot with the film since I am a big fan of it. I cannot compare it to any earlier renditions of the play. "

A show for people who aren't easily offended
"The stars of the show were superb. I was starstruck by Bob Odenkirk. His performance was superb.
The show is hard to follow, especially if you come in not knowing anything about the movie.
The writer included many offensive racial slurs, so it may not be for everyone. However, it is funny, sarcastic, and smart.
If you like Bill Burr, Bob Odenkirk or Kieran Culkin, then see it. Unfortunately, the seat prices are ridiculous. "

Star studded cast definitely closes
"Great cast with Culkin, Oderkirk and Burr shine with Mamet's dialogue. While fans of the film will be disappointed that the play does not feature Alec Balwin’s character or monologue, the cast is strong and hits all the right beats. "
